Once all the paperwork is done and you close on your investment property in Summit County, celebration is order, and what better way than to go to happy hour. There are some wonderful spots all around Summit County from Breckenridge, Dillon, Silverthorne and Frisco you can celebrate your monumental purchase. Here are five of our favorite Happy Hour destinations that won’t clean out your recently depleted wallet.
Blue River
Bistro - Breckenridge
One of the more popular Happy Hour
destinations in Breckenridge, the Blue River Bistro is well known for their
martinis, classy ambiance, and live music. This elegant Bistro sets itself
apart by offering not just one, but two Happy
Hours seven days a week. From 3-6pm and 9pm-Midnight, the Bistro tempts with two-for-one
appetizers, two-for-one martinis, $3 drafts and $3 domestic bottles. Depending
on the time of year, your Happy Hour will be implemented with a variety of jazz
and blues musicians from 5-10pm as well. And if the weather is warm, their
patio is delightful.
Relish - Breckenridge
Since 2006, Relish has been serving tasty Colorado-inspired
cuisine to Breckenridge locals and tourists alike. This unique restaurant
offers a traditional Happy Hour from 4-6pm daily, but also provides a unique
twist with their two-for-$10 Happy Hour menu. The two-for-$10 Happy Hour
fills you up and wets your whistle with one item from their cocktail list
paired with one item from their small plates for … you guessed it … $10.
Pug Ryan’s Brewery - Dillon
Pug Ryan’s Brewery has been a local favorite
in Dillon for over 40 years. With new owners as of May of 2017, we are excited
to see what new changes are coming to this local classic. Enjoy discounts on
beer and cocktails as well as favorite appetizers during happy hour from 2-6pm
each weekday. Named after one of the most notorious outlaws to roam Summit
County, Pug Ryan’s Brewery has become a legend in its own right.
Rio Grande
Mexican Restaurant - Frisco
Need a little Mexican flavor? This Colorado
classic came on the Frisco scene when the Whole Foods complex opened in Frisco
near the transportation center. The Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant is the place
to go quench your thirst, especially for their world-famous margaritas. Their
salsa and guacamole will warm up your taste buds and their small plate apps are
a great happy hour deal. Rio Grande will become a regular stop as you settle
into your Summit County lifestyle and enjoy après ski, or a good strong drink
after a day on the river or trek up a rocky mountain peak.

visitors love. With an outstanding selection of craft beer, wine and cocktails,

truffled tater tots (our favorite!) to rotisserie chicken mac & cheese, the
selection of tasty treats has something for all palettes. Enjoy drink specials
for happy hour from 4-6 PM Monday through Friday.
Arapahoe Café - Dillon
The Arapahoe Café is an iconic bar and
restaurant in Dillon that embodies the spirit of Summit County and its rich
history. Their building is one of just a few rescued from the original town of
Dillon, now under water in the Dillon Lake Reservoir. Enjoy Happy Hour specials
in their pub or on the patio with ½ price appetizers and drink specials daily
from 4-6 PM.
Greco’s – Frisco Main Street
Another local favorite on Main Street Frisco
is Greco’s, serving delicious Italian food with traditional recipes as well as new
gastronomic innovations. Happy Hour is served every day from 4-6 PM with a
special food menu with everything from soft pretzels to PEI mussels. Drink
specials on wine, beer, and cocktails are a great way to relax. Enjoy their
patio on a nice evening and watch the action along Main Street.
Sauce on the
Blue - Silverthorne
Sauce is one of the newest options for happy hour in Summit
County, winning the Summit Chamber’s award for best start-up of 2016. With old
world Italian-inspired dishes and pizza, they offer drink and food specials
starting at 3 PM. Their location right next to the Blue River in Silverthorne
makes the patio seating unique and enjoyable with spectacular views of Buffalo
